As a dramatic gateway to downtown Minneapolis, this station pays homage to the Stone Arch Bridge, which spans the Mississippi River four blocks to the east. The station area includes a vibrant public plaza.
Seven Seas by Andrew Leicester
Intricate brick patterns decorate the station arches with reference to textiles worn by immigrant groups that first settled in the nearby Elliot Park neighborhood. This public art piece is owned by the Minnesota Sports Facility Authority.
