38th Street Station Public Art

Each station along the METRO Blue Line not only has public art but each architectural design team included an artist. This station was designed by:

Meyer Scherer & Rockcastle, architects

Karen Wirth, architectural design team artist

An Arts and Crafts-style bungalow roof reflects nearby neighborhoods where bungalow homes are predominant. Glass in the pre-finished, standing-seam metal roof allows the natural flow of sunlight.
