The Go-To Student Pass program is a transit pass available to Minneapolis Public Schools high school students. The pass allows for unlimited rides on city buses and light rail between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week. The schools taking part in this program include:

Getting ready for your ride
To find your closest transit stops and schedules, use the Trip Planner at metrotransit.org or on the Metro Transit app and enter your home address and name of your school. Search the schedule for a weekday arrival time at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the school day. School staff will help students get to and from bus stops the first few weeks of school, distribute cards, and help with lost or stolen cards.
For help by phone, call 612-373-3333. Our trip planning experts are standing by from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Interpretation services for dozens of languages are available over the phone by request.
How to ride
Arrive at your stop five minutes before the bus or train is scheduled to arrive. Tap your card on the Go-To Card reader on the bus or on the METRO BRT/light rail platform every time you ride – including each time you transfer. For more information, visit metrotransit.org/how-to-ride.
